FATAL404 is an EXE created by OriginalUsername5432, being a piece of the Void that leaked into Earth and eventually became a Ransomware disguised as a bootleg Sonic game, along with being a Fatal Error retake.
The Ransomware[]
FATAL404 is a being who simply wants your data for their own desire. Their goal is to steal your information, though as a ransomware they will give back your information, but for a price. Refuse to pay, and you're 404's main target, and they will go to any mean they have access to get you killed or imprisoned.
Appearance[]
FATAL404's classic appearance is an altered Sonic sprite from Sonic 3. Their skin and shading are depicted as black, while everything else is red. Their muzzle and eyes are gone, in their place being two red and white eyes and red teeth. Their stomach is also gone, with a single red and white eye being seen from it.
The Tale[]
"Classic" Era[]
Within the Void, there exists a large amount of Void energy. The One Above All tries her best to keep it in the Void, but some of it managed to leak out into the Earth. The energy ended up seeping into an old PC, infected with Ransomware. The being absorbed all of its code, along with the Ransomware. The being took interest in the Ransomware, and decided to merge with it. The being scoured the internet, learning of humanity, and found a pleasure in the downfall of it. So, using their many connections, they would try to get users to download their software, but found little success. Eventually, they found about Sonic, and his rising popularity thanks to the newly released Sonic Mania. The entity decided to use this as their hook to gain access to humanities computers, along with adopting the title of FATAL404. Now, FATAL has multiplied themself across the internet, with their being near hundreds of copies, all with the same goal, to steal your information.
