Hōjin (法人) is a Mazin retake by MORI!, acting as SEGA Enterprises personal multiversal legal abassador. Debuting in a personal discord art channel on Jan 3rd 2025, Hōjin was originally an interpretation of Mazin based off the Sonic Originals FNF Mod but has since been expanded by MORI!(and FeMaelstrom) as his own character.

Hōjin is a demon given form by SEGA Enterprises to act as their legal abassador because of Hōjin's ability to traverse through any kind of media. Hōjin transports himself to talk with those which pose a legal issues to SEGA. Typically saving victims from unfortunate fates in exchange for a deal for them to act in favor of SEGA Enterprises.

Hōjin is lanky version of Sonic body with a CRT monitor encasing his head and wings protruding out of his back. This monitor can display various things but primarily is shown with a toothy grin. Hōjin's appearance is slightly effected by which ever media he is currently in, fitting into the style of said media.

Hōjin when acting in a professional manner, he displays an impressive legal knowledge and a business-like personality. When outside of formalities, Hōjin still stays formal but is more laid back and tired.

  • Hōjin's name is Japanese for "Legal Entity/Corporation".
  • Hōjin is the only Mobian Mystery with a voice actor.
    • Hōjin's voice was originally the voice FeMaelstrom gave to Tenna from Deltarune during her first playthrough.
  • Hōjin really likes working for SEGA, even if it doesn't seem so some of the time.
