The Tale[]
In a universe parallel to the familiar world of Mobius, Sonic the Hedgehog lived a life quite similar to his other incarnations, except for one crucial difference: his heart was locked. Try as he might to face his feelings, he couldn’t bring himself to admit his growing love for Amy Rose. For all his heroism, Sonic had a heart that ran from love, too fast for his own good.
Watching from his realm, Eros, the god of love, saw Sonic’s struggle. Frustrated by Sonic’s stubbornness, Eros decided it was time to teach him a lesson that would echo through his very soul. With a wave of his hand, Eros cast a powerful curse on this Sonic, twisting the hedgehog’s fate in a way no one could foresee. This was the curse of the *Lust of X*.
This new power made Sonic an irresistible force. Anyone who so much as brushed his hand would fall deeply, helplessly in love with him, their hearts pulled by an invisible tether of enchantment. At first, Sonic thought he could control it, but the sheer force of attraction he wielded began to drive him mad. The freedom he cherished seemed to vanish in the wake of endless, obsessive devotion from friends and foes alike.
Slowly, the madness took over, twisting Sonic’s mind and desires. He started to believe he deserved to be adored, not just loved. His heart, once warm and reluctant, turned cold and demanding. This was when Sonic truly became Heartspark, a twisted, god-like figure. Under his command, all of Mobius fell to his charisma and power. Resistance was futile; no one could withstand the Lust of X.

- Limitations: Unlike a traditional "zombie virus," affected individuals retain their memories, personalities, and reasoning skills. However, they become fixated on worshipping Heartspark, shaping their decisions around their loyalty to him.
