Welcome back, Japhet. I've been waiting for you for one thousand years. Do you like what I've done with this place? How about we have a rap battle for old time's sake?
― Lord Corpus, Friday Night Funkin': The Demonic Trinity

Lord Corpus, formerly known as Kseno, is an version of Kseno from one thousand years in the future. He was created by Angrythemodder.

The God I was[]

Lord Corpus is the Friday Night Funkin': The Demonic Trinity equivalent of Lord X and is the future incarnation of Kseno. After waiting for one thousand years, he eventually reunited with his "old friend" Japhet. The two first met in 2012, at a time when Lord Corpus still went by the name "Kseno". Even after one thousand years, the goal of Lord Corpus has remained the same: to claim humanity. He has an obsession with the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, preferring the franchise as it was from the years 1991-1998, especially since that was when he first stumbled upon the franchise. Because of Sonic's "radness", as well as the "cute" art style of the franchise, he chose this franchise as the last form that his world would take.

Appearance[]

Lord Corpus looks similar to both Sonic and Kseno, except for the fact that his fur is grayer, and he has wrinkles under his eyes. He has a K-shaped scar across his chest that seeps green blood, and green K-shaped crosses in his lime to dark green irises with black sclera. He has dark-gray feet, which look like shoes, dark-golden teeth (twelve on the top and eleven on the bottom, therefore, twenty-three total teeth), five whiskers on each side of his face, and a wider face and a big chin compared to Sonic.

The Tale[]

The tale of Lord Corpus is mostly the same as Kseno's, up until after the events of Friday Night Funkin': The Demonic Trinity.

Round -2[]

On June 1, AD 6, in a universe that had not been born yet, there was Chaos, a cosmological void state that preceded the creation of the universe, the same one that was in early Greek cosmology. There was nothing before Chaos, but there was something after Chaos. That something was Kseno, who was born from the cataclysm that was brought on by multiple forms of primordial energy that accidentally collided simultaneously and in a manner that was similar to how DNA was accidentally created. Kseno was purely composed of primordial energy.

After he was born, he wandered the void of space, floating in the dark as a giant blob of pure dark energy with two red irises, wandering like a bacterium in the absence of food. It replicated and behaved like a normal bacterium until the one hundred thousandth instance, which mutated and gained sentience. He thought he was alone, but he later found out that he had a brother, Sokra, who was born from Chaos like he was. But Kseno represented darkness, tyranny, and lies, while Sokra represented light, freedom, and truth.

Suddenly, Kseno found a window that revealed Earth and all that it had to offer. Here, he watched and learned about humanity and its creations.

He created a first vessel, a vessel that would serve as a link between Chaos and Earth. This was a vessel that would house his body, or rather, lack thereof, since he was purely composed of energy. It was a vessel that all beings in the universe would not forget. This vessel's name was Yōki. After forming his body, he realized he did not have control over the vessel. But, after some experimentation, he got the vessel to be able to move, though the vessel walked automatically in a straight line. Eventually, he gained a small degree of control where he could somewhat control the vessel by changing its turn speed.

After fully gaining control of the vessel, his eyes experienced a form of subconjunctival bleeding in the sense that his eyes bled from a small blood vessel over the whites of the eyes, and this became a distinguishable birthmark of his, though he experienced very small amounts of pain. He was seemingly unshaken by the pain in his eyes, and instead, he laughed, and his very first laughter echoed throughout the void and served as an example that he was born as something that could only be described as evil in its purest possible form.

For many years, he terrorized Earth and its inhabitants as a ghost, a boogeyman; however, he did not fully exist on Earth, since he was like a fish out of water. He did have a vessel, but it was unstable, since it could only exist for a few hours on Earth before he had to teleport back to Chaos. He terrorized the humans by teleporting them to his lair and playing childish games with them to "enhance" the "taste" of their fear, since he fed off of fear.

He existed like this on Earth for two thousand years, but then, everything changed sometime in the 1750s-1770s with the invention of the Billard Japonais, which was technically the first video game.

He decided that after thousands of years, it was finally time to change things up. He did not just want to be a mere boogeyman anymore; instead, he wanted to become God by finding a way to "farm" their fear instead of haphazardly terrorizing a person.

He decided then and there that all life on Earth (mostly humanity) was meant to be his to control and that he was destined to have all of humanity to himself and only himself until the end of time. But he realized that to have his slaves, he needed a farm in order to harvest their fear, a place to keep them inside where they, at least according to him, would live forever in harmony with him as their master, a world where he was their god.

At the thought of that, his body surged with more power than he had ever felt before in the thousands of years that he had existed, a power unlike any other. The power of God. At the thought of that, the terrain around him shifted. He then realized that it was his doing.

That was how he found his true power, where he could manipulate reality in any way that he saw fit, and with his reality-warping powers, he was able to create his universe in just a few hours. The way that he arranged his world was by creating "rooms" in it, many of them being somewhat based on the Billard Japonais, the difference being that it was in his sinister style.

His egomania about his powers grew, seeing his creativity as "superior" above everything else, and he was very eager to have humanity under his control, hoping to show them how "wonderful" his new world looked. Unfortunately, he learned that he did not truly exist in the other universe and could not access the human world very easily, but he was able to channel some of his powers into it to find ultimate access to it.

His world took on many forms, similar to the Billard Japonais, until April 1940. When, at the 1939 New York World's Fair, he saw a device that was unlike anything he had ever seen in the thousands of years that he had existed. This device was the Nimatron, one of the first true video games. It was an electromechanical machine that played the game of Nim, and he was utterly fascinated with this invention of humanity, even more so than the Billard Japonais from one hundred seventy years before; thus, his lair changed to reflect the game of Nim.

Twenty-one years later, he came across an invention that was similar to the last one, but he felt this one had more potential. He witnessed Harvard and MIT employees Martin Graetz, Steve Russell, and Wayne Wiitanen create the game Spacewar! on the PDP-1. This time, the game was fully digital and was more widespread, and was not restricted to a single location. He felt that he could get more victims this way. So, his world changed for the third time.

He did not have to wait for very long, as ten years had passed and the year 1971 had arrived, and with it came Computer Space, the first commercial arcade video game. No longer were video games just novelties passed around by programmers and technicians with access to computers at research institutions and large companies. The world changed for the fourth time.

The wait was shorter, and one year had passed with the arrival of 1972. It was a new year and a new era. Pong was released during that year, and it was extremely successful, successful enough to inspire many copycats of the game. This was not just a phenomenon in the United States of America; this time, it was a worldwide phenomenon. It may have been a clone of the Magnavox Odyssey, but it was so successful that it did not matter, since it was also so successful that it overshadowed the original. The world changed for the fifth time.

From then on, his world would change countless times to reflect the most popular video game of each year, but then there was a game that was different from the others. This game was Pac-Man on May 22, 1980. This game had a playable character, which was non-generic and was a mascot. Kseno saw this as an opportunity to finally change his vessel after thousands of years. Thus, the vessel was discarded and replaced with another vessel, which was modeled after Pac-Man, the protagonist of the game. The reason was so that he could lure the humans to his lair, his world, similarly to how a python moves its tail to lure its prey, since he took the form of a hero, someone that they could trust.

From then on, he would change his vessel and world to reflect the most popular video game of each year. But then, he would change his world and create another vessel one last time. 11 years had passed, and he was constantly changing the form of his world and himself, but then, he found out about Sonic the Hedgehog, which was released on June 23, 1991. He was infatuated with this game more than all of the others that he stumbled across in the one thousand nine hundred eighty-five years that he had existed. He was already fascinated with humanity and its creations, but he was even more fascinated by Sonic. He changed his world to reflect that of the game, and he decided that from now on, it would stay that way. Thus, like God, he was satisfied with the world that he created; after all, this game was his favorite. However, he still did not fully exist on Earth, and he needed to find a way in so that he could show humanity his "beautiful" world.

The Creation of XML[]

He had created multiple vessels in the past, and all of them were skin suits and nothing more, but this time, the vessel became sentient. It was an accident, as Kseno was experimenting with the vessel to make it more "life-like"; however, he unfortunately caused the vessel to come to life by accident, since he experimented with his matter from the Void, also known as Chaos. This was essentially his blood. The vessel came to life and was essentially a clone of himself. This was XML, his first biological creation. This creature predated the Guardians by several years. However, unlike the Guardians, XML did not agree with the goals of Kseno and wanted to overthrow him for the sake of his own goals. XML had a vision for humanity and all other life. However, Kseno saw XML as a "dissenter" and exiled XML for his rebellion, since he could not see "his way". XML was eventually banished to the opposite side of the multiverse, to a parallel version of Kepler-452b. There, XML managed to enslave the dominant species that lived there so that they could build a rocket for him so that he could go to this universe's version of Earth. Thanks to his immortality, as well as the advanced technology of the planet, he was able to get to this universe's version of Earth quickly.

Round -1[]

In 1997, he used his powers to directly find a way to Earth and found a suitable alternative through an unknown, highly skilled computer programmer who was on par with people such as James Gosling, the designer of the Java language, and Linus Torvalds, the creator and lead developer of the Linux kernel, since he created a programming language himself, which was similar to the C programming language that was in use around the 1990s. Kseno believed that this man was his ticket to not only glory but also freedom from the void. Kseno used his powers to manipulate the darkness in the heart of the programmer so that he could make a computer game that would serve as a temporary gateway between Earth and the world of Kseno.

The final part that was required to create the game was a sample of Kseno's essence so that he could have full control of the game system within. Kseno sent a piece of himself to Earth, which arrived on Earth like a meteorite that then collided with the game disc since the piece was controlled by Kseno's telekinesis. The newly created game inside the disc and the disc itself survived the explosion that was brought on by the shard of Kseno, but by the time that happened, the programmer was nowhere to be found and is thus presumed dead. But what no one knew was that the programmer was a sacrifice and that for Kseno to exist on Earth, an inhabitant of the Earth had to die first. This piece of Kseno made a large crater that was shaped like a K when it landed. The Children of the Fallen Star (the Cult of X equivalent), sometime after it was founded in 1997, believed that Kseno came to Earth in the form of a "falling star". This programmer was just one of many programmers who fell into the trap of Kseno by creating temporary portals to Kseno's world, and the first programmer in that chain was a programmer who worked at Atari, Inc.

Kseno began to harvest souls when the disc started getting passed around from person to person, and every time that someone inserted the disc and the game was allowed to be read by the computer, Kseno gained full access of that person's computer and as that person (the Children of the Fallen Star calls these people the "seeds") plays the game, Kseno uses his reality-warping powers to show the seed his world because the game itself is a gateway to his world and once the game is finished, Kseno could channel more of his powers into the human world to spy on the seed by creating horrific illusions until it was time to steal their soul.

Because Kseno does not fully exist on Earth, he cannot be in it for too long, and if he takes too long to steal a seed's soul, his powers will weaken, and he will have to go back to his world and wait an hour to go back to Earth. He only has four hours to exist on Earth, and can only come out at exactly midnight, and will vanish by 4 AM.

The first time that Kseno captured a human soul, he did so rather rushed, and when he got their soul, he severely damaged their body, and this resulted in a severely mutilated mouth, throat, and chest, but they would die since their vital essence has left their body since the entire soul has been extracted, rather than parts of their soul. As time went on, Kseno captured souls more carefully and elaborately to the point where he simply absorbed their souls rather than using his hands, leaving the body intact but dead. Each time he stole a soul, he carved a number into the seed's chest to keep track of his victims.

As the attacks continued for the next five years, people started to notice so much that the attacks ended up on the news and the police classified the cases as the "Sonic.exe murders" since all of the victims had a game disc before they died and the computer internally calls the program in the CD-ROM "Sonic.exe" Kseno found it hilarious how the police had coined the name "Sonic.exe" and he then decided to call himself that.

After a few months, Kseno has managed to murder/harvest the souls of exactly twenty-nine victims.

The Children of the Fallen Star[]

A few months after the murders started on August 24, 1996, a new religious movement called the "Children of the Fallen Star", also known as Asteria, was founded on January 7, 1997.

The Children of the Fallen Star played a significant role in the murders since they were responsible for delivering the game to potential victims, and after a seed's soul is harvested, the followers of Kseno would retrieve the disc and send it somewhere else by mailing the disc to the victim's house, and thus, the cycle begins again. The Children of the Fallen Star also has multiple copies of the disc in case the original gets destroyed.

A few years before the story, the Children of the Fallen Star have been trying to find new ways of giving Kseno full access to Earth, but so far, they have not found anything.

Round 0[]

After capturing the souls of twenty-nine victims, the disc was delivered to the house of a boy named Kyle Scott in 1998. Despite Kyle's efforts, they were no use since Kseno still managed to steal Kyle's soul, but before this could happen, Kyle managed to send the disc to his friend Tom since he believed that destroying the disc would kill Kseno (this would not slay him, since that would only destroy a small fragment of him, that is why the Children of the Fallen Star have multiple copies of the game).

The Guardians[]

After Kseno had captured Kyle and extracted his soul, Kseno, using parts of his body and mixing them with the essence of human emotions, created seven entities, called the Guardians. They exist in the human world and capture the targets of Kseno and bring them to him.

Round 1[]

This story is currently being written, and this section is subject to change.

When the disc was delivered to Tom's house, there was a note attached to the disc that stated that Tom needed to destroy the disc, but Tom ignored the warning, since he was curious about the game that was inside the disc, and he played the game and fell right into Kseno's trap. Kseno did the same thing that he did to Kyle, but he was very interested in Tom, just like he was in Kyle. After all, Tom was a very curious individual and had an obsession with helping others, and Kseno found these traits to be astoundingly entertaining.

The Victims[]

After torturing the victims for many months, Kseno decided to brainwash the victims so that they would fight for his cause. Occasionally, they would appear in the overworld. They would not be free of Kseno's control until fourteen years later...

Round 2[]

Throughout the entire murder case that was happening throughout the year 1998, each murder was investigated by Detective Derek Green and his sister, Chelsea. After Chelsea was killed by Kseno and her soul was harvested, Derek was fired from his job for supposedly performing poorly, even though he was considered one of the best detectives in town.

But despite being fired, that did not stop him from going after Kseno. As he secretly investigated each of the murders that Kseno had committed, Derek's sanity started to decline to the point that he believed that everyone was conspiring against him. Through a mysterious contact named "Cole", Derek found out that the Children of the Fallen Star were behind the murders and that Chelsea was dead and her soul was trapped in Kseno's world. Eventually, Derek was captured by the Children of the Fallen Star and was confronted by one of their leaders, Shannon Goldman. Derek believed that destroying the disc (which he did) would put a stop to Kseno's murders, but Shannon proved that doing that was no use and that the Children of the Fallen Star had made multiple copies of the disc in case anything happened to the original. Shannon then called her followers to perform a ritual that would summon Kseno, but, instead of Kseno killing him by sucking out his soul, Derek instead sacrificed himself to save the world from Kseno's wrath.

Three weeks later, Derek's boss, Bob Richardson, received an email from Cole, who told him what had happened.

To this very day, the Children of the Fallen Star have been continuously attempting to bring Kseno back to life after Derek sacrificed himself. They attempted to resurrect Kseno by mixing Tom's blood with the ashes that Kseno left behind. To this very day, the Children of the Fallen Star are in the middle of a manhunt for Tom; however, their attempts to capture him have been fruitless. The ritual of mixing Tom's blood with Kseno's ashes is required to light the Lime Candle, a candle that cannot be lit by conventional means, unless the blood of Kseno's enemy is mixed with his ashes, which will light the candle and bring Kseno back to life.

However, this defeat did not kill him; it only caused him to flee to his domain, where he hibernated for many years...

The Cardinal Eye Society[]

The Cardinal Eye Society (also known as the Guardian Angels), which was established on January 9, AD 73, by this timeline's variant of Pope Linus, rose to prominence between 1999 and 2012. This society was established in the city of Rome, and it was established to combat, contain, and study the evils of the Earth. Using divine holy technology that was sent by God to the Earth, they can capture demonic entities and demon-like entities with ease. This divine invention is called the "Holy Ball".

Friday Night Funkin': The Demonic Trinity[]

Fourteen years have passed, and it is August 25, 2012, and Japhet and Faiana have completed every single video game in their collection.

However, Faiana points out that because the Dearest Organization was a conglomerate, it assimilated multiple companies, including one that sold bootleg games. Faiana asks Japhet if they could play Sonic the Hedgehog, and Japhet had a disc of the game, but when they turned the PC on and played the game, it started to malfunction and sucked them in.

Japhet and Faiana end up inside the game and come face-to-face with Kseno. Kseno is seen putting a stake with Tails' head into the ground, declaring that that was "the last of them" and that he could finally relax and digest the "guy" who was trying to get out of him. He then hears an object being thrown at the ground near him. he looks down at the object, seeing that it is a microphone. Then he looks ahead and is surprised to see Japhet and Faiana there in his world. Japhet then asks, "Heeeyyyyy, dude, I challenge you to a rap battle! You up for one?" and Kseno says, "Looks like today is my lucky day - extra meal! Hahahaha!" as he transforms the microphone that Japhet threw at him.

After the first rap battle, Kseno runs at Japhet and tries to eat him, but then Faiana tries to use her demonic powers on Kseno, but they do not work. Kseno then says, "Hahahahahaha!!! You thought a mere weakling like you could use your powers on me?!? Besides, I don't want to kill this giant waste of oxygen yet!" Kseno then puts down Japhet, and Japhet and Faiana walk away.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, Bob Richardson, who was Derek's boss fourteen years earlier, had somehow managed not to meet the same fate as his employee. He had been investigating the murders for fourteen years, and he had been working with the family members of the murder victims, but not even that could help him figure out how to stop the murders. However, he did find out that two teenagers had disappeared from their house in Grand Haven, Michigan, and their bodies were never found. However, the police did find a disc inside the computer of the teenagers that matched the description of the disc that was found in the computers in the houses of all of the murder victims throughout the sixteen years that the murders happened, but the computer had been running for several days. The names of the missing teenagers were Japhet and Faiana, and the game was "playing" itself. The game seemed to depict characters that were identical to the missing teenagers, and they seemed to be rapping against a distorted version of Sonic the Hedgehog. Every single time the disc was removed and put back into the game, the rap battles seemed to happen again and again. Bob Richardson believed that this game may be the reason that the teenagers disappeared and that it was connected to the murders. Meanwhile, back in the game, Japhet and Faiana were walking when Kseno suddenly teleported in front of them, laughing. Kseno tried to grab Japhet again, but Kseno stops himself, and Japhet says, "Huh? Huh... Again!" and Kseno smiles and laughs.

The second rap battle ends, and Kseno is visibly enraged and shouts, "HHRRGGGHH!!! WHY WON'T YOU LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE!?!" Japhet then sees red mist part in front of him with his hair blowing in the wind, and opens his eye, and in the red mist is Corpse Tails, and Japhet braces himself for the third rap battle.

After Far Enough, Japhet is grabbed by a long arm and dragged into a portal...

When Japhet is on the other side of the portal, he finds himself face-to-face with... Kseno. But he looks older.

Then "Kseno" explains to Japhet that he is "Lord Corpus" and that he teleported Japhet to the year 2998 to have a rap battle with him for "old time's sake."

Personality[]

His personality is similar to Kseno's, being cruel and remorseless, enjoying the harvesting of souls, and taunting Japhet and the player upon getting a game over and retrying, and is very cocky and confident in his abilities, viewing humanity as the perfect plaything and believing himself to be a god. He has three different personalities, all of which are "psychotic". One is a jokester, one is a sadomasochist, and one is delusional enough to believe that he is God. He is less impatient and more calm and collected than he was in 2012.

Potential[]

  • Omnipotence: He can do anything; however, to keep things "interesting", he limits himself.

Trivia[]

  • Lord Corpus was originally a separate character from Kseno.
  • The year he was from was originally 2998, but was changed to 3012, and has been changed back to 2998.
  • His name is a reference to Lord Mortis, and "Corpus" is the Latin word for "body", but also refers to corpses.
