Myopia is an interpretation of Sonic.EXE specifically designed and written as if it was an SCP Article, made by MORI!. Myopia is the primary antagonist in their debut (Upcoming) story Anomaly ID#0623.
The Blind []
Myopia, also known it's designation, #0623-2 is an cognitohazardous sentient eldritch being residing in an old copy of Sonic the Hedgehog for the SEGA Genesis. This copy(Known as #0623) displays various anomalous effects causing individuals whom percieve it to be influenced to play #0623. Myopia appears after playing this copy for more than 12 hours, it talks to it's victims convincing them to follow it into it's own realm.
#0623 and Myopia by succession are under containment by the AES(stands for Attain, Enclose, Safegaurd) Corp, a foundation who secure anomalous items, objects, and phenomena with the goal of containing and protecting them.
Myopia sees itself as a deity to humans, using it's power to save them from their (supposed) shackles by transporting them elsewhere. It is not known where Myopia takes it's victims minds but their bodies remain in a coma-like state, with sporatic neuron activity resembling static. Myopia also has various other anomalous powers, such as; Changing human perception, influencing the mind, and infecting those its met with visions of itself.
Appearance []
Myopia takes the appearance of a lanky, mostly featureless Sonic the Hedgehog. Myopia is missing a mouth, nose, belly, and inner ears. Myopia's fur is a pale blue with all it's other features covered in static (most notably it's eyes). Despite residing in Sonic 1, Myopia when viewed in-game takes a much higher fidelity looking out of place.

Myopia is not intentionally malicious, instead percieving itself to be a savior to those who encounter it. It speaks in a cold yet understanding manner, curious of humans and their want to remain in such a corrupted world. Conversations with Myopia are described to be calming and reassuring to subjects.

- Myopia's designation (#0623) is a reference to Sonic 1's US release date, June 23rd.
- The AES Corp is a direct equivilent to the SCP Foundation.
- Myopia itself finds humans as aquaintences, and "saves" them out of pity.
