Lilith Rose, later known as RE-RUN, is an EXE created and owned by Erick Animations.
She is the vengeful spirit of a dead animator who previously worked on a Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon alongside her husband, Thomas. Following his murder, alongside the deaths of her kids, Lilith would spiral into depression before eventually passing away under unknown circumstances.
However, Lilith's soul was angry and filled with hate, and she returned as a ghost possessing the old cartoon she previously worked on, dedicating her new undead life towards killing the people who wronged her, including that of her fiancé's killer, and reuniting with him.
The Goddess
Prior to her death, Lilith was a compassionate and loving woman who was incredibly passionate about her work and held a great deal of love towards her husband. She greatly enjoyed the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and was a talented animator who loved doing what she did best. After the deaths of Thomas and their kids, however, Lilith spiraled into a depressive state as her superiors would constantly mistreat her and make her work environment a living nightmare by forcing deadlines and cutting the budget of the cartoon.
Reborn as a spirit, RE-RUN is sadistic, vengeful and crazed, furious that her life and work were cut so short under completely unfair circumstances. She is relentless in her goals and ruthless to anyone who crosses her path, killing people without mercy or regret for how they treated her in life and dealt her numerous bad hands despite her mental state. She is also highly intelligent, being a skilled animator and having an understanding of the physics of the cartoon world which she can use to her advantage to further terrorize her victims, as well as being able to hide her existence from the population and remain unhidden, allowing her to easily get away with her crimes.
Although she is remorseless and hellbent on vengeance, Lilith still has some humanity left within her and refuses to cross lines that would lead her to committing extremely heinous and inhumane acts. She also only targets people who have wronged her and still carries the love and affection she has for her fiancé that she did when alive, wishing to reunite with him once more.
Appearance
Lilith appears as woman with red eyes (previously blue eyes) and long blonde hair tied in a ponytail. She wears a dark blue shirt, brown pants and jacket, red shoes with white ends and stripes, and two pins on her jacket of both Sonic the Hedgehog and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
RE-RUN appears as an extremely thin and tall variation of Sonic with long, rubber hose limbs and yellow skin that melts around her mouth, which is pitch black and lacking teeth. Her eyes are also black with red pupils. Creepshow Sonic appears as a perfect copy, with the exception of a crooked mouth and tiny red dots in his eyes.
In her Freakshow form, she turns into a monstrous version of her human form possessing large, clawed hands, static eyes, and stretched body parts such as her neck and arms. She also has a melted mouth locked in a smile and is wearing a torn wedding dress with the veil on her blonde hair. Her fingers and legs are also soaked in blood.
The Tale
Lilith, an ordinary 26-year-old woman, had a happy and loving life together with her true beloved husband, Thomas Miller, and their kids, Sally and Zachery. Unfortunately, their lives were cut short after a failed hit-and-run turned murder, where Thomas was stabbed to death and kids strangled. At the time, Lilith and Tom of them were currently working on a Sonic animation project, a project that was meant to tie-in all of the chronological releases of Sonic games. With the death of her family, Lilith soon entered the state of depression that prevented her from being able to perform her work at her normal pace. To add more pressure on her, her bosses force her to overwork herself, putting time crunch on her, while making her sleep deprived, and cutting the budget of the production, making her life during the development an absolute hell. As soon as the project was about to be finished, Lilith passed out, which ultimately resulted in death due to what had happened to her. Her corpse was soon identified by her co-workers the next morning.
Despite her death, the team decided to continue and release the animation anyway. Resulting it to become the most top grossing cartoon to ever broadcast for Cartoon Network during the time it was on air. Unfortunately, the show soon canceled after one season, due to the company's attempt to hide any mentions of Lilith within the show and the public. Despite the show's cancellation, the report seems to indicate the broadcasting of said show during nighttime without approval of any supervisor or higher ups. What's more concerning are the reports of dead bodies that seems to correlate with it, due to the fact that all reports indicate that bodies were found dead inside a room with a TV turned on. The Police Department's effort in finding the culprit seems futile. What's more, is that there is another report of “missing” people that seems to have vanished at night.
Until one such case of Jason, one of the people who oversee the Sonic cartoon, was found dead similar to the cases prior. This raised high alarm within the Warner Media Company, in which they have ordered an investigation in order to solve this mystery as fast as they can. Derek Green, a detective from the Police Department of Burbank in California, was assigned to the case in the hope of discovering the truth behind the death across the U.S. and how it's all related to the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon.
Powers and Abilities
Powers
- Cartoon/ghost/hedgehog physiology: After dying, Lilith became a spirit capable of performing various supernatural feats, but also was now a spirit was a cartoonish body and physiology, as well as the physiology of a hedgehog due to possessing Sonic's body.
- Increased speed: RE-RUN is capable of running at high speeds to catch her prey,but prefers using her stretchy limbs to move efficiently.
- Immortality: As a ghost, RE-RUN is an immortal being who can live forever and cannot die by conventional means, such as sickness, disease or natural causes, and also cannot be killed in traditional ways, rendering her virtually unable to die.
- Invulnerability: RE-RUN is completely immune and invulnerable to all forms of damage, with her cartoon body being the reason as to why she can take endless amounts of damage and still be okay. Harming, shooting or punching RE-RUN's body will only cause her body to stretch or act as if a dull blade hit her.
- Regeneration: RE-RUN can regenerate parts of her body, ranging from lost limbs to basic injuries. When crawling out of the TV to face people who she greatly despises, her bones and skin begin to break and crack but heal almost instantly.
- Levitation: RE-RUN is capable of levitating off the ground but prefers to use her limbs to move around.
- Limb extension: Thanks to her supernatural cartoon physiology and body, RE-RUN is able to extend her limbs and manipulate them in various ways. She can stretch them across seemingly endless distances, readjust their size, use them as springs to jump up high and even spin around so much with her limbs that she practically becomes a tornado able to hit anything. She mainly uses her extremely long limbs as a means of travelling due to being able to extend across long distances.
- Physical manifestation: RE-RUN is able to physically manifest in the real world in two ways: as an intangible ghost as she normally appears in the cartoon world, or as a physical being that can interact with the world.
- Possession: Lilith is able to possess different cartoon vessels, often resulting in her taking a corrupted form of them. Under her possession, her vessels feel all the pain she puts their bodies through and are unable to do anything. She can also exit her vessels and use them as puppets to control at certain distances.
- Shapeshifting: RE-RUN can shapeshift between various different forms, and although she primarily takes the form of her corrupted Sonic and human forms, she can become a near-perfect copy of Sonic and take other similar demented forms that resemble the Blue Blur. When she crawls out of the TV to claim her victims, she becomes an amorphous liquid before reforming in his default form
- Teleportation: RE-RUN can teleport across various distances to wherever she wants to but chooses not to in favor of using her limbs as a means of transport.
- Digital transport: RE-RUN can emerge from TV screens and crawl out of them into reality.
- Virtual warping: As a result of her soul becoming fused with both the cartoon and Sonic's vessel upon possessing him, RE-RUN is virtually omnipotent within the cartoon world and practically rules it as a god. Considering the authority she had over the creation of the cartoon when she was alive and her animating talents, RE-RUN can effortlessly shape and manipulate the reality of the cartoon world and bend it to her will in whatever way she likes.
- Vínteokinesis: RE-RUN can manipulate videos and how the cartoon plays out while running on the air. She can also manipulate different copies and recordings of the cartoon. She can also intercept the live broadcasting of the cartoon and manipulate it as its going live.
- Video detection: RE-RUN has a link with the cartoon due to merging her soul with it and thus, is able to sense different copies and recordings of the cartoon and be aware of what's happening to them.
- Vínteokinesis: RE-RUN can manipulate videos and how the cartoon plays out while running on the air. She can also manipulate different copies and recordings of the cartoon. She can also intercept the live broadcasting of the cartoon and manipulate it as its going live.
Abilities
- Talented artist and animator: Lilith is an extremely talented and professional artist and animator, having been hired by WarnerMedia to work on a Sonic cartoon and being tasked with directing the project and being the main animator. These talents of hers are what ultimately allowed her to have control over the cartoon reality.
Weaknesses
- Emotional instability: RE-RUN suffers from intense emotional instability born out of her rage and desire for revenge against those who've wronged her, which often leads to her thinking irrationally and acting purely out of wrath.
- Power nullification: RE-RUN's abilities are severely nullified when in the real world, and while she can still do some stuff with some of her abilities, she isn't omnipotent at all within the real world and holds no control over its reality.

- Lilith’s creation was heavily inspired by Gene-X and not Needlem0use like most presumed.
- Lilith is a big fan of Sonic the Hedgehog and animation, which is why on her jacket she wears a Sonic the hedgehog Pin and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit pin she managed to get them made.
- RE-RUN's cartoony abilities are a result of Lilith's manipulation of the cartoon world and her own art and animation skills.
- Lilith can separate her human form from RE-RUN and can use the now empty and soulless body as a puppet she can control at certain distance.
- Whenever Lilith wants to get rid of someone that she had a personal grudge against, she will crawl out of the TV screen in her human form. Her bones will break, ripping her skin and bend in a way that is impossible for a human to do, but heals itself quickly.
- As confirmed by Erick Animations in a Twitter thread, RE-RUN was set to appear in update 3.0 of the Sonic.exe mod.
- Her encounter with BF would be split into 3 notable phases, the first being regular Sonic, with a worried expression, in fear of Lilith possessing his body. The phase after that would change his expression to something more confident as Lilith takes control, being known as 'Creepshow Sonic'. Finally, Sonic would transform into RE-RUN upon fully yielding to Lilith, who has taken full control of the world they're in.
- RE-RUN was inspired by Spinel from Steven Universe: The Movie and old rubber hose cartoons like Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, whom Lilith has a pin of on her jacket.
- Her name is also a reference to how old cartoons would renew themselves.
- In addition, Lilith was given her name due to Erick Animations wanting her nickname to be "Lily".

- Despite her actions, she genuinely wants to move on from all of the pain and heartbreak she feels, but because of her fear and anger, it prevents her from doing so
- On top of this, Freakshow Lilith isn't actually her, but rather represents Lilith's worst aspects while wearing the dress of her happies day (her wedding dress) as a constant reminder that what she is doing is for the wrongful hope to see her family once again, her husband and her two kids, the most important people in her life.
