THE ERROR
RUC is a EXE/Sonicpasta of Eggman that takes place in Sonic 1, inspired by the Illegal Instruction game crash in Labyrinth Zone.
Kaleb Howe, a teenager playing Sonic 1, accidentally performed the glitch. While it would usually just crash the game, Kaleb's instance ended quite differently. Upon triggering the Illegal Instruction, a great pain was created. That pain was so great, it created life. It created RUC.

PHYSICALITY
RUC shares his design with Classic Eggman, being distinguished by having the color palette of Labyrinth Zone. RUC also has a pair of gauntlets made of Labyrinth Zone stone (seen in his placeholder art) that he wears while using his powers.
THE STORY
RUC's creator here! I'm not really the best writer in the traditional sense. If RUC was to have a story, I would want it to be something like a short film or comic. I don't have the resources for either of those things right now, so RUC's story may go unfinished for a long time.
PERSONALITY
RUC inhabits the same body that Eggman once did, essentially replacing him. However, despite technically being the same Eggman, RUC has no interest in expanding the Eggman Empire, creating Eggmanland, or defeating Sonic The Hedgehog. In fact, RUC is quite kind with Sonic, considering him a friend.
RUC considers Kaleb to be his one enemy, for a multitude of reasons.
TRIVIA
- RUC is inspired by the Sonic 1 Illegal Instruction glitch(?), giving him his name (Illegal InstRUCtion) and his main zone (Labyrinth Zone, the zone in which the glitch is performed).
- RUC's dialogue is written in a different way than most other characters.
- when ruc is narrating or speaking in his own head, it's written like this sentence.
- WHEN RUC IS SPEAKING OUT LOUD TO OTHER CHARACTERS, IT'S WRITTEN LIKE THIS SENTENCE.
- This rule was technically broken in the Mobian Mysteries version of absolutenutcase162's villain convention comic, but that was because I just kinda forgot to tell MORI! about this fact before she made the meme. Oops.
- When writing RUC's name without his speech quirk (e.g., another character talking about him), it should always be written in all capitals, resulting in his name being written as RUC.
- When it comes to possessives, RUC's name should be capitalized, but the s after the apostrophe should be left lowercase (unless he is being referred to in all caps).
- RUC probably wouldn't work as an executioner in Outcome Memories, as he hold no ill-will towards the Sonic cast, and does not find enjoyment in torturing them.
