Its a Sonic based ransomware was created in 2001 in Japan, the malware can infect PCs that have Windows XP and above.
Appearance[]
The malware has some "forms", like the screenshot, it's a blueish sonic face with a black background.
The Tale[]
Once when I was exploring a page where there were Sonic games, I downloaded many of them, downloaded official games, hackroms, fangames, etc.
The download took a while so I couldn't test if they all worked, my brother asked me if I could use my PC the next day, I said yes, I tried some of the games I downloaded, some were good and some were bad .
The next day, I lent my computer to my brother, I was resting for a while, after a while my brother told me to check my computer, I turned on the monitor, he saw a strange shape, blue in color, my brother told me to run . a file called “sonic”, a screen appeared that was quickly removed, that the game was like a normal Sonic, which recorded that he played in GREEN HILL ZONE, he told me that EGGMAN looked strange, he had experience with Sonic 1 because I played it on an emulator, then I sent it to an area that had a “blue” floor with blue fire, it was like a platform level, it was complicated, after passing the first act, a similar level started, but there was a fog black that prevented you from seeing what was happening, it failed twice, the act passed, act 3 passed, the level was more complicated and the fog covered almost the entire screen, it fell into the void and got a finished game, after that it was shown the Image that is now on the monitor.
I tried to restart the PC, but it still had that image, I tried and tried, but no, I had to reinstall the operating system and all my programs, I wanted to return to that page, I checked and that game was no longer there.
