SXNIC The HOG, better known as SXNIC or SXNIC.ROM is a retelling of X (original) by Meirthechippy. He originates from a corrupted ROM hack of Sonic CD, the corruption of which turned him bloodthirsty.
Physical Description[]
SXNIC has the appearance of Sonic (Yet his in game sprites are from Sonic Triple Trouble, despite being in Sonic CD), with a few key differences. Firstly, he's a bit purple. His eyes are disconnected, with one crying a black substance. His quills are tipped in the same substance that he cries, and he has red teeth. Finally, his shoes are black and his muzzle goes up to his forehead.
Origins[]
Sega Store X was a now defunct store that sold Sega consoles, games, and products. One day in 2002, they had received a strange copy of Sonic CD in the mail. The CD had no print on it, and had the words "CD1998.ROM" scribbled on it in sharpie. Strange, thought the workers. Then something dawned on them.
Maybe the legend they heard about was real.
The urban legend surrounding this game went something like this: Some day in 1993, a man named Henry Jones got ahold on a Sonic CD rom hack. Henry was known for his kind personality, but he was also known for something, much darker. The main incident associated with him was the 1987 kidnapping and murder of Sarah Poskloni. She was the girlfriend of his best friend. Why did he kidnap her? Its due to his friend beating him in a game of poker.
So, after Henry got the rom hack, he immediately went to work. Another known thing about Henry is that he was an ex Nintendo worker and hated Sonic with all of his heart. He tore the poor hedgehogs code apart, mutilated its sprite, and much more. However there was one thing he did that would lead to his downfall later on.
He gave Sonic sentience.
This was so Sonic could feel the pain Henry was inflicting on him. So, after destroying Sonic to his hearts contend, he left. That computer laid their for 5 years, until he went back to the home in 1998. He opened up his computer, and saw Sonic, staring. He looked unrecognizable. His colors were messed up, his glove was blue and red. But there was only one thing that unsettled Henry. Sonic had no face, just a singular eye. He stared at Henry. Then text appeared on the screen. "Go ahead, I want to see you struggle to face your guilt" the text red. Then more popped up, "Try to get out of the mental prison you yourself made after you killed her." Henry was confused, how did Sonic know about it? Tears started to run down his face. "Oh don't you start crying know" the text on the screen now read, "I know you wanted to kill her. You have no remorse for your actions. YOU brought this upon yourself. YOU ARE AT FAULT HENRY."
Henry was now full on sobbing. Along with this, his computer screen kept showing Henry images of Sarah's mutilated and bloodied corpse. Henry, not wanting to deal with his guilt no longer, went to his safe. It was there that he pulled out his rifle for home defense, put it in his mouth, and pulled the trigger.
A week later, Henrys son came to the house. He had come out of fear that his dad was in trouble. The first thing that hit him when he walked in the door was the stench of... death. Henrys son ran to his room, then saw the aftermath. His dad was dead. He had been dead for the past week. His son immediately called the police. But, then he found the computer. It is said that to keep on his dads legacy (Thinking the sonic rom hack was a fun mod for sonic cd), he ported it to a CD and sent it around, eventually reaching the hands of Sega Store X 4 years later.
Being mindful of the urban legend but also believing that its just a legend and couldn't be true, the workers brought it to a computer, and put it in the CD player. It opened up a rom file, simply titled "SONICX". If this was a Sonic CD rom hack, then why did it have a X in the name? The workers brushed this aside and opened the game. Sonic had appeared, and told them "You are not fit for this game. Please turn the screen off immediately." The workers, thinking this was a sick joke, tried to play. Sonic repeated "Please turn of the screen", but the workers wouldn't listen. The screen suddenly started flashing violently and showed images of burned corpses, Sonic, the workers families, and more. 2 of the workers died of an epileptic seizure, and the 3rd worker, seeing his friends dead, killed himself. After this, the store closed. However, someone managed to download the ROM file. It is said that if you scroll far enough on Reddit, on r/sonicromhacks, you can find SONICX.ROM... but its all make believe, right?

- Physical Strength- Hes not necessarily that physically strong, so you can beat him up with a pole or bat

- SXNIC's favorite movie is "Godzilla VS Megalon"
- SXNIC loves to sleep, as he expends a lot of energy daily.
- There is only one copy of his ROM hack, if someone else downloads it while hes in a different computer, their computer factory resets
- His main way of killing humans is giving them epileptic seizures, but on some occasions has come into the real world (How he does this is still unknown)
- He doesn't have to eat, he just chooses to for the fun of it
- His body can fall apart at random

- He is 4 inches taller than Sonny , because of this he tends to stand over her in mock superiority. However, he is playing around when he does this
- SXNIC's actually quite a coward
- SXNIC has a beast form he made himself, yet he only uses it for really intimidation or if he really needs/wants to
- SXNIC is an alcoholic
- SXNIC had a cult, but he wanted nothing to do with it. After finding out their who their last victim was, and how they killed people, he murdered the members.
- Adding on to this, 2 of the cults 10 victims made it into SXNIC's game. He was actually surprisingly sympathetic to them and helped them escape.
- SXNIC is really competitive with new EXE's he meets
- SXNIC does have a planned horror series of a playthrough of his game. The first episode, titled "SonicCD_opening.MP4" is available to watch here[1]
- SXNIC has the ability to mimic appearances and voices of other people. However, when he mimics someone appearance, its usually flawed heavily
- SXNIC is similar to No More Innocence in the fact he has a "human" form based off of Henry, yet its only used to scare people who know Henry (especially Emily, because Henry was her uncle)
