Substitute is an oddity created by @Vertical_IGuess, and co-owned by @MiguelMcMuffin on Twitter.. It was formed from a manufacturing error and believes It being in the background was a mistake and took it upon Itself to correct the perceived "error".

Appearance[]

A slightly lankier version of 8-bit Sonic with the end of the quills having white tips. The wrists and ankles are noticeably more gaunt, showing a butchered attempt at cuffs using flesh and bones. Substitute is missing a mouth and a nose. Substitute also lacks real shoes instead opting to make a crude portrait of Sonic's real shoes out of his skin.
