Tokai, also known as Totem, is an EXE created as the d-side’s ver of Hedgina (soon to be made wiki) whos the Amy Mix of Wechidna, created by King0fSass. They were created on September 9, 2024.
The Goddess (?)[]
Tokai refers to the sacrificial vessel used by the Echidna tribe to appease the god of destruction, Chaos, and prevent the annihilation of their kind. This was due to the Echidnas' misuse and harm caused by their ignorance in harnessing the power of the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald to dominate other Echidna tribes. The chosen sacrifice to become the physical vessel for Chaos was Tikal, the daughter of the Echidna tribe's leader, Pachacamac. with the name Tikal being renamed to Tokai by chaos himself as he spoke in the echidna's language.
Appearance[]
Tokai resembles Tikal, but with a more vivid and tense body, featuring recessed areas held together by chaos. Their fur is a deep shade of orange, and their eyes are a muted light red with intricately carved pupils, allowing chaos to gaze through. Adorned with a gold headband, bracelets encircling their dreads, neck, waist, ankles, and even golden shoes, these items were crafted to honor Tokai's divine status. The golden attire and shoes, infused with essence, symbolize the echidnas' reverence for Tokai's protection.

- Tokai's story revolves around an alternate timeline in Sonic Adventure, where the echidna tribes were not extinct rather saved after sacrificing Tikal to the god of destruction aka chaos.
- Tokai is the name given only by chaos to be referred by, totem was the name given by the echidna tribe when they saw first hand what Tokai's newer Monstrous form looked like when protecting them from threats.
