This alternate timeline is my second take on a canon version of X in the Archie universe, but this one is less insane than the other one
History[]
Ellipsis, born from the void like the rest of her kind, was drawn to the Archie universe due to its unique inhabitants. She soon laid eyes on Sonic, and, while impressed by his strength and appearance, was attracted to him due to his selfless nature. She spent quite some time simply watching from afar, wondering when and how she should introduce herself.
Later in time, as Sonic storms off in anger after the Chaos Council denies his plan, Fang sneak attacks Sonic as normal, but before he's able to take him away, Ellipsis quickly makes her presence known. Fang, having never seen her before, attempts to defend himself, but with having studied how Sonic fights, she's able to do away with Fang, the short battle ending with Fang skyrocketing away.
Sonic later wakes up to find a very worried Elipsis. He's confused, having never seen her before, questions her, naturally she explains herself, excluding her true origins, and how she's been watching mobius for longer than she let on. She doesn't tell him about her feelings, because she wasn't sure how he'd react and was afraid she'd be rejected.
In this world, Ellipsis disrupted Sonic getting roboticized like in the actual Archie canon, she takes Sonic back to the Freedom fighters, in which she becomes acquainted with the rest of the cast, growing fond of them as much as Sonic does. They commend her for saving Sonic from the ambush from Fang. Robotnik, finding out that Fang had failed. This also means that Sonic isn't jailed as he wasn't turned into Mecha Sonic.
Later, where Issue 40 takes place, since Sonic was saved by Ellipsis, he isn't put on trial, despite this he still finds himself on badland mountains, as he's ambushed once more, this time by various badniks. Like with Fang though, Ellipsis comes out of nowhere and helps him once more. Sonic is confused on how she knew where he was once more, to where she nervously gave him a very vague answer. They both head down and encounter Fang once more, Sonic is easily able to deal with him, but as Fang goes to use his gas gun, Ellipsis zips up to him and snatches it out of his hand before he can fire it and flings it far away, Eggman finds out that Fang has failed now, and sends an army of Swatbots to attack, In which Sonic and Ellipsis effortlessly defeat. After the battle, she begins to grow more confident in herself around Sonic and considers telling him about her feelings, but decides to wait.
As time would go on, a lot of events in this archie world would change due to Ellipsis' continuous attempts at keeping sonic safe as best she can while not revealing anything that would give her true origins away, and Sally would be the first to notice Ellipsis' crush on Sonic.
Appearance[]
She takes the form of a light blue hedgehog with long quills and a toned body, her pupils are colored red with X irises in them There's a large X mark on her stomach, and her shoes are white in color. She also has Grey Inhibitor Rings on her wrists. One thing that differs her from others are slim black marks going down her eyes. This would also show in her children as well.
In the Classic Era when she first appeared, she had more of the classic Sonic.exe look, but with the X mark on her stomach, the black shoes, and the eye marks.
In her Super Form, she grows up to 15 feet tall, her body becomes a bright red color, her quills point upwards, her entire body becomes slim in nature, she now has 4 elongated arms, and sparks emit from her.
Personality[]
She's nothing short of a sweetheart, wanting the best for those she cares about, she can be a little clumsy, and when around Sonic, she has a hard time speaking to him directly.
When she was younger though, she acted like the average teenage girl.
Powers[]
Classic Era[]
- Hypnosis: no explanation needed
- Flight: pretty obvious what this is
- Elongation: Ellipsis can stretch her body into whatever he pleases.
- Dream Manipulation: She can enter and modify the dreams of others to her whims.
- Shapeshifting: Not only can Ellipsis change her looks, but she can change her molecular structure to truly become whatever she wants.
- Black Soul: Her dark matter soul can be condensed into a black hole, where all things absorbed will cease to exist.
- Hallucinagenic Properties: She can make you see things.
- Teleportation: self explanitory
- Distorted Aura: Her simply existing creates twisted, catastrophic entities.
- Hellish Blast: Basically a Kamehameha but heat-seeking, extremely powerful, and hypnotizes immortal beings apparently. It also makes said hypnotized immortals able to understand Ellipsis’ Kefka laugh language.
Modern Era[]
- Reality Manipulation: She slowly learns about how to do this after the events of Sonic Adventure
- Soul Stealing: Ellipsis uses the souls she steals to revive the dead, basically.
- Distorted Aura (Mastered): She figures out on how to control her aura, and can use it to corrupt technology, or brainwash evil beings
- Extreme Durability
- Super Speed
- Void Force: Due to speeding a lot of time with Sonic, she would end up inheriting his Chaos Force, in her own way
Trivia[]
In-Universe[]
- Like in the main timeline, she canonically tastes like bleach and Styrofoam.
- Why anyone would go out there way to eat a hedgehog is beyond me.
- She once accidentally punched a building half out of rage, due to Sonic's beating her at rock, paper, scissors
- She had adoptive parents, though they did not last long.
- She and Shadow had a one-night stand
- It did NOT go well
- And that's not how X created her kids.
- Her and her children live in the Ice Cap Zone.
EXE-verse[]
- During the EXE-verse, he becomes aware of the fact that her other variant's murderous behaviors
- She often goes to Hooters to act as Hooter's comfort
- She hates beings like Atem, who exist purely to cause pain and suffering
- While she does feel sorry for Roy, she doesn't like how he's trying to make his name known
