Xetherian, often referred to as X or Sonic.EXE is an EXE created by CrimsonHeat on October 22nd 2024. He's the CrimsonVerse version of The Original X by JC the Hyena. He is owned by SinnyTheFennec and formerly co-owned by BLURR3DVISI0N.
The God[]
Xetherian is a being of absolute evil created from an extraterrestrial cataclysm. He gains an obsession with Sonic the Hedgehog which fuels a God-like mockery of the blue blur, his image being used to kill the hedgehogs friends and foes. Xetherian is able to take the souls of the players of his game and leave them in a near-death state while tormenting them in the most brutal ways imaginable.
Appearance[]
Legacy Designs[]
Xetherian looks strikingly similar to his idol, Sonic the Hedgehog. However, there are several noticeable differences to his appearance. He has dark blue fur and a pale color to his skin. His claws are sharp and bright purple. X's mouth is often extremely wide when he smiles and it's always fanged and dark yellow. His eyes are pitch black, with two glowing red dots as irises with very tiny pupils. His chest has a bright red X-shaped gash on it.
For attire in this form, he wears black fingerless gloves with bright purple cuffs over his claws. He wear dark gray shoulder pads similar to Neo Metal Sonic, they have dark red accents to it. He wears dark gray knee-high boots with white boot cuffs similar to Silver's. There are middle aligned stripes running down each boot which connects to a slate blue circular front design. The soles of the boots are black.
Xetherian has multiple forms, most of which resemble Sonic in some way. As Classic Sonic, he has light blue fur and black eyes with white sclera. He wears white gloves and Sonic's iconic red speed shoes however, the shoes have no buckle on them and have white socks along with white soles.
His Base Form is identical to his faker form but has regains the black sclera with red eyes and darker complexion. His shoes become dark grey.
His Dark Matter Form appears to be that of a giant sphere of with two glowing red dots for eyes. Surrounding the eyes is a purple X shape, which is his actual body.
Current Designs[]
Xetherian's True Form is similar to his previous design but with some changes. His fur colors are darker, his claws are now red and his spines take on a more messier appearance. His eyes are similar to 2011 X, with the addition of a black dot in the middle. His claws are now red and his yellow teeth are brighter. His red X-shaped gash is bigger and is larger than his chest patch.
For attire in this form, the cuffs on his gloves and shoes are all red and he no longer wears shoulder pads. His boots are now black with red accents on the front and back. These boots also have grey soles.
Xetherian's other forms have had some changes as well. His Faker Form is identical to Classic Sonic seen within Sonic 1 promotional artwork. However, he has a butt-brow and white pupils.
His Base Form is similar to his True Form but without the messy quills and X-shaped gash. He has the same body shape as Classic Sonic and only three spines on his back. His eyes are small and his red claws are hidden.
His Dark Matter Form is identical to his Legacy Design but now has the same eyes as his other forms.
Personality[]
Xetherian is considered pure evil incarnate. He views humanity to be the perfect plaything and desires to one day have it all to himself for eternity, and believes himself to be a god thanks to his reality-bending powers. Xetherian is also arrogant and cocky at times.
Xetherian idolizes Sonic the Hedgehog, who inspired him to create a body for himself similar to his idol and also create a world that has many aspects from Sonic's world. Unlike his original counterpart who wanted to be with the hedgehog for all eternity, Xetherian would just want to be friends with the blue blur. However, he also shows great disappointment whenever a version of Sonic doesn't act like the one he idolizes.
Xetherian is completely aware that he's evil, and even admits that he has a very monstrous personality.
Xetherian is also known to be extensively manipulative and clever, as he influenced a master programmer to create his game disk and led a cult to believe that he's the good guy.
His likes include:
- Sonic: Xetherian is a huge fanboy of Sonic. He views Sonic as the ultimate embodiment of freedom and courage. Sonic's ability to overcome any challenge with sheer willpower and speed has Xetherian want to be friends with the blue blur. His fascination even leads him to create worlds and scenarios that mimic Sonic’s adventures, but always with his own twisted spin on things. Whenever Xetherian sees his idol act differently than usual, he gets disappointed and is quick to point the flaws out.
- His "Godly" nature: Due to his powerset, he views himself as a God, which is a technicality due to the fact that he created his own world.
- The Sect of Shin: He enjoys the loyalty of his cult. However, just because they’re a part of the cult doesn’t mean he won’t punish them if he catches any betrayal.
- His Guardians and the Game Disk: Xetherian has a small symbiotic relationship with his seven guardians and his game disk, this is most likely due to him using his dark matter to create them all.
- Food and Drinks: Xetherian's favorite food is a cheese pizza topped with pepperoni, ham, beef, and bacon. Though on occasion, he gets a Hawaiian Pizza to go along with it. He would probably order it from Dominos. He also enjoys chili dogs and sometimes he likes to have a bowl of Meatballs with Vodka Sauce that has pickle relish on the side.
The Tale[]
A God's Origins[]
In 2011, a being was born within an endless void of nothingness. Born from a cataclysm of ancient energies amassing into a singular body trying to hold its own. This being would simply be known as X.
After his birth, X wandered subspace, floating in the void as a giant sphere of pure dark energy. Suddenly, X discovered a window that oversaw the planet Earth and all that it contained. It is here that X learned about humanity and Sonic the Hedgehog, and right then and there he was fascinated by both, mainly by Sonic.
X eventually copied Sonic's form in order to make a perfect body that would house all his energy, a body that all in the universe would remember. After he created the body, X decided to test the limits of it by carving an marking on his chest. X felt pain for the first time, but instead of yelling out in anger, he laughed. His very first laughter echoed throughout the void...
X decided that all of humanity were meant to be under his control. He realized that in order to have any subjects at all, he needed to have a place to keep them all in. A place where he was God...
This is how X discovered his true potential, the ability to manipulate reality in any way he desires. With this new found strength, he was able to create his own dimension. He created the layout of his world by creating "rooms" in it, all of them being based off of the Zones in the Sonic series.
After creating his world, X grew more arrogant about his powers. He wanted to have humanity under his command, hoping to show them all how his newly-built home looked. Unfortunately, X learned that he did not truly exist and was thus not able to have access to the world of humans with ease. However, he was able to channel some of his powers into the human world with something very simple...
The Creation of the Disk[]
After briefly breaching into the human world with his abilities, Xetherian found a computer programmer named Hale Profeta. Hale was highly skilled at what he did and X believed that he was the key to something greater. X manipulated Hale into making a computer game that would serve as a gateway between our world and X's twisted domain.
The final key to creating the game was a sample of X’s own dark matter essence, so he could have full control over the world within. X released a fraction of his body into the human world, which arrived inside the game like a blazing meteorite. This meteoric explosion caused by this power being released created a huge X-shaped crater. The newly made black-colored disk survived this explosion of power. However days later, Hale was nowhere to be found and presumed dead.
X began his soul collecting when the disk started getting handed down from person to person. Every time a human inserted the disk and downloaded the game on it, X gained full access into that person's computer and in turn total control over it as well. As the person plays the game, X uses his reality-altering powers to show that person what's inside his world due to the game being a gateway into it. Once the game is finished, X could channel more of his powers into the human world to spy on the human who played it until the time to steal their soul came.
Since X doesn't exist in the human world and can't be in it for too long, he has to steal a person's soul very quickly or else he will be forced back into his world. If this occurs, X has to wait an hour to head back into the human world.
The Sect of Shin[]
During X's numerous soul captures, a new religious movement that called itself The Sect of Shin was founded. This group is loyal to X and view him as the holy savior of mankind, dubbing him "Shin" or "Kami". They believe that he is destined to bring all of humanity out of the horrors of the reality and bring them into a paradise under his rule.
The Sect of Shin is the very group that gets the game into the hands of a potential victim. Right after a person's soul gets captured, the Sect retrieves the game disk and has it end up at a new place for it to be found. In case the original disk were to be broken, the Sect has made plenty of backups.
Capture Number 30[]
After various soul capture attempts, X's disk fell into the hands of a teen named Kyle in 2012. He managed to snag Kyle's soul with little ease despite Kyle's efforts to stop him. In a last ditch effort to put an end to X's game, Kyle sent the disk to his friend Tom, believing the destruction of the disk would mean the destruction of X himself...
And this my friend is where the tale ends...

Xetherian's 7 Guardians[]
Before his recent soul capture, Xetherian decided to create seven "Guardians" to both maintain order in his world and help capture more souls in the human world. These seven entities are all extensions of X's will and were created through the fusion of X's own dark matter and human emotions. Each one has a different personality according to the emotions that made them and a different style on how to lure humans into X's world.
Yorokobi is X's Guardian of Joy. He is a being who represents happiness and wants to see smiles on everyone's faces at any cost. Since he is an extension of Xetherian, he gathers people to X's world by using playfulness and promises of happiness forever.
Personality[]
Yorokobi is a playful and mischievous brat. He's always playing tricks and pranks on others. He thrives on the unpredictable. He sides with Xetherian because he sees the world as the ultimate playground, where the rules of true reality don’t apply. In his mind, a world ruled by X would be the perfect stage for his endless games.

- The reason a scorpion was chosen as his species out of universe was because of the Sand Scorpion, the first boss of Secret Rings. This boss guarded the Yellow World Ring.
Nikushimi is X's Guardian of Hatred. He is a being who represents humanities disgust and is often cold-hearted. Since he is an extension of Xetherian, he gathers people to X's world by using their resentment with one another.
Personality[]
Nikushimi is a cold and ruthless being. His every word is coated in venom, and he enjoys observing suffering from a distance, only intervening when absolutely necessary to deliver a final blow. He sides with Xetherian because X embodies a powerful darkness that fuels his own loathing, allowing him to spread his disdain unchecked and find satisfaction in the suffering and hopelessness of X’s world.

Kigan is X's Guardian of Prayers. He is a being who represents a persons need for hope. Since he is an extension of Xetherian, he gathers people to X's world by offering them answers to their prayer and promising them divine guidance in X's realm.

Kigan is calm and meditative turtle. He values tradition and discipline and often recites words of wisdom to other. He sides with Xetherian because he sees X as the only one who can grant him ultimate insight into the souls of others, allowing him to continue his path as a false guide.

Yokkyu is a shark with a greedy, opportunistic streak. He's always seeking more whether it be power, control, or material gain. He sides with Xetherian because he views X as a limitless source of desires, a figure who enables him to endlessly pursue and consume. In X’s world, there is no limit to what he can crave and acquire.

Ikari is restless and intensely passionate. He is straightforward and aggressive, quick to anger, and even quicker to act, often jumping headfirst into conflicts without a second thought. He has little patience and values raw power, seeing anger as a superior emotion. He sides with Xetherian because he believes that X’s realm is the ultimate battlefield, a place where his rage is not only accepted but encouraged.

Personality[]
Nozomi is a gentle soul, but that doesn't mean you should underestimate him. He rarely raise his voice in anger and serves as a reminder of aspirations and goals yet to be fulfilled. He sides with Xetherian because he views X as the ultimate source of “dreams that go unfulfilled,” a world where people can chase their hopes endlessly. This allows him to continue guiding lost souls within an endless cycle of seeking.

Kanashi is X's Guardian of Sadness. He is a being that represents the somber and depression in a person's life. Since he is an extension of Xetherian, he gathers people to X's world by drawing them in with a promise of comfort, only for them to be brought to a world of despair.

Kanashi is a wolf that's connected to sorrow and loss. He understands the pain of others and often reflects on his own turmoil. He sides with Xetherian because X allows him to become the comforting yet fatal presence in people’s lives, giving him a purpose in their sorrow. In Xetherian’s world, he can offer endless comfort that ultimately leads them deeper into despair, giving him a twisted sense of fulfillment.

- Reality Warping: X can control reality in anyway he likes. He can create and destroy matter along with creating whole new worlds. The most notable forms of his reality powers is the creation of his world, the control over his game disk, and being able to turn a soul into a slave.
- Dark Matter Physiology: X has a body completely made up of dark matter. His dark matter body is eternal and because of this, he can't be killed by normal means.
- Shapeshifting: X can change his own appearance in addition to his reality powers, though he always prefers to resemble Sonic in some way.
- Teleportation: X can move instantaneously from one location to another without physically occupying the space in between.
- Soul Absorption: X can absorb peoples souls, while removing them from the source, and into his body.
- Mental Manipulation: X can manipulate the minds of others to his liking.
- Mirage Manipulation: X can manipulate hallucinations that cause people to see, hear, touch, smell or taste things differently from what they truly are.

Appearance[]
Amber takes the form of Miles "Tails" Prower. She is an anthropomorphic fox with two tails that possesses mostly orange fur, with white fur around her muzzle with cheek tufts, belly and her tail tips. She also has large triangular ears with white canals on top of her head, a small black nose, and three locks of hair on her forehead. She has blue eyes with black corner eyelashes. For attire, she wears cuffed white gloves, white socks, and red and white shoes. She also sometimes sports silver goggles with blue lenses.

Garret is one of Xetherian's favorite victims.
Appearance[]
Garret takes the form of Knuckles the Echidna. He is an anthropomorphic echidna with pinkish-red fur that covers most of his body, a black nose on his peach-skinned muzzle, a white crescent-shaped patch of fur on his chest, sharp teeth and purple eyes. He also has seven dreadlock-like spines around the sides and back of his head and a medium-sized, tri-crooked tail. For attire, he wears red and yellow shoes with yellow cuffs, light gray soles, and metallic, sextuple-bolted plates on top. He also wears large, white, mitten-like gloves with sock-like cuffs and two pointy, spiked knuckles on each hand.

- Garret is named after the Garnet, a red colored gemstone.
- Garret's socks are yellow in reference to the NPC palette for Knuckles in Sonic 3.
Jasper is one of Xetherian's favorite victims.
Appearance[]
Jasper takes the form of Mecha Sonic MK2. He is a robot that is mostly built out of blue metal, with light blue-colored metal on his belly and muzzle. His head has metal fins designed like Sonic's quills and a pair of triangular "ears". His feet are red-colored with a white stripe in the middle, resembling Sonic's shoes. He also has an orange-colored horizontal optic sensor as eyes and a rectangle nose.
Before his soul was placed into Mecha MK2's body, Jasper's vessel was originally the form of Dr. Robotnik.
Trivia[]
- Jasper is named after the reddish yellow gemstone of the same name. Said gemstone can also be blue colored, but it's very rare.
- The In-Universe reason that Jasper's vessel is different on this page than in the story is as follows: After going through the gameplay loop enough times, Xetherian decided to do something creative with Jasper. He removed Jasper's soul and placed it within Mecha Mark 2, all so that he could have more fun with him.
- The Out-Of-Universe reason for this is that CrimsonHeat couldn't draw Classic Robotnik decently or make him in Pulse RP.
Trivia[]
- Xetherian's name is a combination of the letter X and the word therian, which comes from a Greek word meaning wild beast.
- The therian part of the name is also in reference to JCTheHyena, whose persona was well... an anthropomorphic hyena.
- The Sect of Shin's members, minus Melody, are all named after various EXE creators.
- Joseph Dougherty is named after JoeDoughBoi, the creator of Lord X.
- Rachel Ventura is named after Raven, the creator of EXE/Faker and owner of the current 2017 canon.
- Aster Sheiston is named after Shei, the creator of the Canon version of Xenophanes.
- Adam Bloodworth is based on MY5TCrimson, the creator of the original game version of Sonic.EXE.
- Jason Castro is named after J.C. The Hyena, the creator of the original Sonic.EXE.
- Dylan Baker is named after DylanZeMuffin, the current voice of 2011 X himself!
